After undergoing the trial and see some evidence and some witnesses, the court finally decided Michael Jackson's personal physician, Conrad Murray, guilty. He is considered guilty of murder by accident that caused the death of the superstar.
In a hearing that was held last Monday, 12 judges, consisting of seven men and five perempua, decided Murray was negligent use of propofol anesthesia in the surgical treatment of insomnia suffered by Michael. And Murray is considered to contribute significantly in the death of Michael on June 25, 2009.
Before making a decision, 12 the jury took more than seven hours to discuss. They took the decision after hearing 49 witnesses during the trial, including Murray's girlfriend and also patients from the doctor. Michael's former employees, researchers, and medical experts also testified in the case of Michael's death.
Murray's lawyer, Ed Chernoff not remain silent. He argues in this case there is no element of the crime. He asserted that Michael uses his own excessive doses of propofol in causing death. Michael Chernoff considered using propofol for feeling depressed have difficulty sleeping without known Murray.
However, the defense was denied by the prosecutor, David Walgren, stressing to the jury that the evidence concerning the cause of death Michael was very clear.
"Murray has taken his father Prince, Paris and Blanket. They live without a father. They have no father because of what Conrad Murray," Walgren said, as quoted from USMagazine.
Murray is now languishing in prison, awaiting sentencing which will be conducted on 29 November next
