Triggering lonely Insomnia

Loneliness is often associated with impaired mental health. Apparently, loneliness can also cause sleeplessness or insomnia. Thus the results of research conducted by researchers from the University of Chicago, USA, recently.

The study involved 95 elderly adherents Hutterites flow as participants. It requires that the flow of devotees, to meet together independently and forbade them to communicate with the outside world.

To measure the length of time sleeping the night, participants were asked to wear a bracelet that can detect blood pressure. Rising blood pressure is an appropriate indicator of the least time spent sleeping.

Found, half of the participants experienced an increase of blood. Although most refuse to feel lonely, the researchers noted a close relationship between feelings of loneliness due to isolation from the outside world with the difficulty to get a quality night's sleep.

"Our study adds one more harmful effects of loneliness, which affect both physical and mental health," said lead researcher, Lianne Kurina.

Pelitian previously found that loneliness can also affect the stability of body weight. Someone who feels lonely will vent his feelings are, by eating foods that are sweet or fatty foods.

Effects do not stop there. After the diet can not control which impact on weight gain, a person will be more depressed and less confident when she realized her weight additions. In fact, this will all lead to depression which threatens the health of the soul.
