This type of cabbage plants generally have a good function for health because they contain many vitamins and beneficial compounds in it.

All of the cabbage family contain anticancer compounds and are a source of vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin B1, and minerals, calcium, potassium, chlorine, phosphorus, sodium and sulfur. The content of crude fiber in cabbage is very high, so as to minimize the risk of gastric cancer and intestinal diseases.


But do you know, it kind of has a distinctive red cabbage. Red cabbage contains almost twice the vitamin C that existed at regular green cabbage.

Cabbage red color also signifies these vegetables contain lots of polyphenols concentration of anthocyanin. These substances are called to act as an anti-inflammatory, and can be a solution for a wide range of diseases.

But you need to remember anthocyanins and vitamin C is soluble in water, so try to use a small amount of water to process it. In addition to vitamin C and was awarded many anthocyanin, red cabbage also contains lucosinolate that can function as an anticancer.
