Salt in Bread Higher than chips

Bread is one of the favorites menu breakfast in the morning. In addition to practical setting it up, bread can also be served with a variety of food and other beverages.

The highest amount of salt contained in 100 grams of bread between 1.4 to 2.83 grams in white wheat bread. Meanwhile, whole wheat bread contains 0.58 to 1.7 grams of salt per 100 grams.

How much salt can be consumed every day? UK food standards agency set a maximum daily salt intake recommended for adults is 6 grams per day. And the recommended maximum limit for children is generally lower.

In order to live healthier, CASH advised to examine food labels. The recommended amount of salt in a maximum of 1 gram per 100 grams or about 0.4 grams per piece of bread. So do not be fooled on wheat bread that is healthy, but in fact contain high salt
