New Drug Killer Cancer Cells: Ecstasy

After going through a six-year study, scientists from the University of Birmingham discovered the benefits of ecstasy type drugs to cure cancer. Ethylenedioxymethamphetamine material contained in ecstasy concluded able to destroy cancer cells.

The doctors found that the chemical composition of some cancer cells are very similar to the substances contained in the anti-depressants, weight loss medication, prescribed and ecstasy (MDMA). In their opinion, treatment with MDMA can destroy cancer cells.

These findings reinforce the results of a 2006 study. But to be more effective cancer treatments, substance use ecstasy should be given in high doses. For years, scientists together with their fellow researchers from the University of Western Australia to try to formulate the most effective dose of methylenedioxymethamphetamine and proven safe.
