Nefazodone, Drugs for Depression

Nefazodone is used to treat mental depression. They are available only by prescription. This product is available in tablet form

For mental depression:
1. Adults (18 years and older): 200 milligrams (mg) per day, divided into two doses. The doctor may increase your dose if needed.
2. Adults: 100 mg daily, divided into two doses. The doctor may increase your dose if needed.
3. Children up to 18 years of age: Use and dose must be determined by your doctor.

Side Effects
1. blurred vision
2. Clumsiness or unsteadiness
3. fainting
4. ear buzzing
5. Skin rash or hives
